The Group Now

We currently have 11 active responders and several supporting members, all of whom are volunteers from within the local communities. We aim to be on call all day everyday.

Between July 2010 and June 2011 we took 599 calls and regularly take just under 600 calls per year.

As with all CFR groups, we are completely self-financing, relying on the generosity of the local community. It annually costs the group around £12,000 to keep the Emergency Response Vehicle on the road and to maintain the equipment.

At present the group is trying to gain founds for a new responder vehicle.
